In a hospital, meals travel from the kitchen by trolley to the wards and patients' rooms. Along the way, glass or porcelain can break, and broken pieces put patients and staff at risk. Our polycarbonate self-service ware and Hospital Series lids do not break when dropped, and their light weight makes life easier for serving staff.
Covered, hygienic service
Hospital Series PC lids keep plates, bowls and self-service trays covered throughout service. Round, square and flat options fit different items, and the self-service lid covers a whole tray. Because the lids are clear, staff can check that the right meal is going to the right patient without lifting them. All products are made from food-contact-grade materials in line with the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry regulation, registration no. TR-34-K-252889, and leave no smell or taste in food.
Reheating, washing and storage
Polycarbonate trays, plates and lids are microwave safe and withstand -40 °C to +90 °C; they should never be heated on a grill or open flame. Everything is safe in industrial dishwashers, and stacked trays and lids take up little room in the dish room and in storage. The ABS trays used for meal distribution handle -40 °C to +70 °C and are made for serving and carrying.
